Condolences

Condolence From: Wayne Brown
Condolence: The last time I saw Aunt Florence was in 1993. We were traveling to London from British Columbia to start a new job. We drove in all broken down and towing a trailer. We visited for a while, she took us out to dinner, (all 5 of us), and as we were leaving, she pressed $100 bill into my hand and said, "You'll need this." I objected and she refused to take the money back.

I remember the times in my youth when we drove from London to visit Grandma and Grandpa Brown and Uncle John and Aunt Joanne in Harriston. But when I was a boy, Aunt Florence and Uncle Walter lived in Saskatchewan and we didn't see them often. But when we pulled into Harriston that day in 1993, she treated me like her favourite nephew. (It's just an expression.)

I'll always remember the love and kindness she showed me on that day. Thank you, Aunt Florence.

Condolence From: Michele Gilroy (Palmer)
Condolence: Boy, It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since Aunt Florence has passed. We still miss her, and have lots of memories of our day-long trecks to Harriston, to see her (and Grandma Brown)Hope she is resting peacefully, reunited with Sunny and all those others who left before her....
