LLOYD, Doris Eilene (nee Preiss)– died peacefully at her home Pinehaven, Waterloo on Monday, March 11, 2013 in her 80th year.

Doris was the mother of Keith and Sue Lloyd of Fergus. Grandmother of Jessica Bates and James Lloyd, and great-grandmother of Collin Bates.

She is with her children Brenda and Mark who died in a car accident in 1958, which also took her health but not her spirit.

Predeceased by her parents Paul and Magdelina Preiss, by her siblings Clayton Preiss, Leonard Preiss, Harvey Preiss, Helen Hay, Betty Newton, and Marion Thacker, and by her brother-in-law Laverne Schenk.

Will be greatly missed by Milly Wesley of Kitchener, Vi and Don Herman of Hanover, Joyce Schenk of Cambridge, Shirley and George Culbert of Mildmay, Ellie and Gord Cox of Oliphant, Ron and Ginny Preiss of Kitchener, Hughie Thacker of Formosa and Pat Preiss of Hanover , and their families.

Doris knew in her heart the Lord would take care of her in this life and the after life.

A special thank you to the Pinehaven Nursing Home Family especially these last few weeks when she needed so much extra care.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday, March 19 for visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
