Life Story for James Clark

Jim is survived by his wife and best friend, Ann (nee Boyd) Clark, and was the dear father of Fiona Clark and her husband Tony Froklage of Cambridge and step-father of Laird Heinmiller and his wife Amy of Palmerston.

He is sadly missed by his son-in-law, Norrie MacAskill of Cambridge, and was a loving grandpa to his grandchildren, Roddy MacAskill, Maresa MacAskill and Ron Pearson, Natasha Oliver and Matt McLean, Sandy MacAskill, all of Cambridge, and his three “weans”, Audrey and Anna Heinmiller, and great-grandson, Cohen MacAskill-Pearson.

Also left to mourn his passing are his brother, Billy Clark, and family, of Glasgow, Scotland, and his sister-in-law, Diana Godson and Bruce Mitchell of Harriston.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda MacAskill in April 2013, his former wife, Georgina Clark, and his parents, William and Martha Clark.

Jim was recruited to come to Canada in 1973 by Babcock & Wilcox in Cambridge and enjoyed a successful career as shop superintendent until his retirement.

Friends and family will be received at Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Tuesday, December 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the Royal Canadian Legion # 121, Veteran’s Way, Cambridge (Galt) on Wednesday, December 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
