Obituary for Jean Stockton
Jean Stockton ~ of Harriston, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Harriston, on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the age of 94 years.
Jean Graeme (Chambers) Stockton was the wife of the late Stewart Stockton, and loving mother of Joan Hill, and Allan and Sherry Stockton, all of Kitchener.
She will be remembered by her grandchildren, Pamela Hill and Sylvia Brightwell of London, Bradley Hill and Stephanie Ledger, and Julie Hill and David Rader, all of Waterloo, April Magpali and her husband Tri of Guelph, and Crystal Stockton and Adam Wilson of Markham; and by her great-grandchildren Russell and Rosalee Rader, Mali Hill, Haydn and Ethan Magpali, and Samantha and Amanda Wilson.
Predeceased by her son-in-law Ross Hill.
Jean was the last surviving member of her family, being predeceased by her brother Robert Chambers and his wife Ruby, and her sisters Ellena Arthurs and her husband Fred, Joy Stormes and her husband Ron, Marie Reed and her husband Art, and Norma Shannon and her husband Edward.
Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jessica Cottrell officiating.
Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Child Witness Centre, or the Palmerston and District Hospital would be appreciated.
