Life Story for Howard 'Harold' Weber

Howard 'Harold'  Weber
Howard 'Harold' Arthur Weber ~ peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at the age of 72 years, after a courageous 16-year battle with prostate cancer.

Harold was the beloved husband of Carole Weber of Harriston, and father of Sherri and Steve Wylie of Harriston, and Mark Weber of Mississauga.

Missed by his grandchildren Spencer and Samantha, sister Beulah and Grant Chambers, and brother Eldon and Agnes Weber, all of Harriston, and brother-in-law Irving Stinson of Guelph.

Predeceased by his infant son, sister Donna Allan, brother Lyle Weber, sister-in-law Janet Stinson, brother-in-law Gordon Day, nephew Jim Day, niece Joan Day, and parents Charles and Irene Weber.

Harold joined the Harriston Fire Department in 1971 and held the positions of captain and deputy chief, as well as Harriston Minto Fire Chief from 1991 to 2007. In 2011, he retired after 40 years of service.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held from Harriston United Church on Wednesday, February 8th at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Minto Fire Department, Palmerston and District Hospital, or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
