It was with deep sadness I received the news of Howard's passing, only two days after my mother died suddenly in an accident. As the new editor of The Rural Route magazine I was looking forward to meeting him in person. I greatly enjoyed his stories (and yours) and am looking forward to working with you. Please accept my condolences from all of us at The Rural Route. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
