Obituary for Gladys Greenwood (Weber)

Gladys Eva (Weber) Greenwood of Harriston passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in her 97th year.

Gladys was the wife of the late Douglas Greenwood (2002), and mother of Murray and Irene Greenwood of London, Linda and Grant Day of St.Clements, and Cheryl Greenwood and Steve McMurray of Cambridge.

Remembered by her grandchildren Jeff Greenwood, Brett Greenwood and Lori Luce, Katelyn Greenwood, and Craig Greenwood and Stacey Warburton; and by her great-grandchildren Spencer, Annabelle, Grace, Maliya, Owen, Hunter, Charlotte, and Sophie.

Sister of Ruth McLellan of Mount Forest and Helen Gascho of Harriston; and sister-in-law of Joan Greenwood, Erland Greenwood, Ross Jackson, and Perry and Lorna Greenwood.

She was predeceased by brothers and sisters Bill Weber and wife Lillian, Albert Weber and wife Eileen, Norman Weber and wife Dorothy, Meinert Weber, Alma Dowling and husband Bill, Verna Elliott and husband Lloyd, and Marie Mallett and husband Harold; and by brothers-in-law Gordon McLellan and Jack Gascho.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday, November 1 for visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Harriston United Church or Palmerston & District Hospital would be appreciated.
