Ruth Jean (Whitehead) Murray ~ at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in her 87th year.

Ruth was the wife of the late Earl Murray (2001), and beloved mother of Ronald and Rita Murray of Mildmay and Rick and Laura Murray of Chesley.

Remembered by four grandchildren; Michael Murray and Heather of Kitchener, Laura and Mark van Eykeren of Kitchener, Nolan Murray of Chesley and Shayne Strader of Clifford, and two great-grandchildren Claire and Gavin van Eykeren.

Survived by her sister-in-law Mary Whitehead of Walkerton, brothers-in-law Don and Eva Murray of Listowel, Jack and Shirley Murray of Clifford and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph Whitehead and Cathrena Emke, brothers Nelson, Arthur, Roy and Ernie Whitehead, sister Lucinda Merchant, and grandson Eric Strader.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Knox United Church, Clifford on Monday December 4th at 11:00 a.m.

Interment to follow in Clifford Cemetery.
