Obituary for Mayne Roth

Mayne  Roth
Mayne Calvin Roth of Fordwich -passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in his 77th year.

Mayne was the husband of Brenda (Hill) Roth, and dear father of Teresa and Colin Hatch of Fergus, Trevor Roth of Fordwich, and Darren and Lisa Roth of Elmira.

Beloved Poppa of Evan Roth and Austin Roth, step-poppa of Ali Harrison, Melanie Hatch, and Zachary Hatch, and step-great-poppa of Si Meier and Tripp Meier.

Brother of Shirley and Herb Wagler of Tavistock, Ervin Roth of Listowel, Ed and Wanda Roth of Gorrie, and Diane Rellinger of Listowel, and brother-in-law of Sharon and Wray Zimmerman of Fordwich, Jim Hill of Clifford, Richard and Doreen Moore of Palmerston, Deb Whitehead of Hanover, Brad and Diane Moore of Harriston, Vickie Zettel of Chepstow, Stephanie Newton of Alsfeldt, and Chris and Diane Moore of Neustadt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Almon and Annie Mae (Ropp) Roth, sister Nelda Roth and husband Delmar, sisters-in-law Marie Roth and Sheila Hill, brothers-in-law Bill Knoblaugh, Trent Moore, John Zettel, and Jim Newton, and by his nephew Corey Zettel.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Saturday, August 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A private family service will be held with interment in Fordwich Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
