Obituary for Florence Bridge

Florence  Bridge
Florence Bridge ~ formerly of Harriston, passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in her 94th year.

Wife of the late Milton Bridge (April 7, 2005).

Mother of Jim Bridge of Gowanstown, George Bridge and wife Susan of Minto, and Joan Fisk and husband Richard of Minto.

Remembered by grandchildren Jason Bridge and Lisa Trudell, Becki Bridge and Dave Fletcher, Bobbi Loughran and Bryce Taylor, Jon Bridge, Benjamin Bridge and Morgan Lander, Carrie Bridge and Colin Borys, Amy and Grant Habermehl, Aaron Bridge, Ryan and Kayla Fisk, Josh and Shelley Fisk, Sarah Fisk-Gunson and Geoff Gunson, Jodi Fisk-Givens and Derrick Givens, and Kayli and Ryan Buehler, and by great-grandchildren Travis, Tyler, Cole, Denver, Kennedy, Ede, Ethan, Ella, Quinn, Evvy, Piper, Emmett, Rayven, Ryder, Easton, Charlee, Maxim, Mason, Brody, and Skylar, and by several nieces and nephews.

Florence Edith Schneider was born in Wallace Township on September 14, 1924 to Myrtle (Coulter) and Aaron Schneider. She married Milton Robert Bridge on February 17, 1945. She was a member of Harriston United Church, where she was an Honourary Elder, past-president of the Harriston United Church Women, and a life member of the Harriston U.C.W. Florence was the Past District Deputy President, and Past Noble Grand of the Lady Minto Rebekah Lodge #360, and Past President of the Harriston Ladies Curling Club.

Predeceased by her sister Grace Newbigging, and brother William Schneider.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Harriston United Church on Friday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jessica Cottrell officiating.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
