Bettie Zimmerman ~ of Harriston, at Royal Terrace, Palmerston, on Sunday, August 1, 2010. Mrs. Elizabeth Rose (Steinacher) Zimmerman was the wife of the late Harvey Zimmerman, and mother of Chris Fedy and her husband Don of Walkerton, Paul Zimmerman and his wife Edna of Harriston, and Jamie Zimmerman and his wife Melodee of Waterloo.

Grandmother of Jason Brears, Crystal Dobben and her husband Steve of Drayton, Jordan Fedy of Walkerton, Melissa McDermitt and her husband Christopher of Drayton, and Shawn Zimmerman of Harriston.

Devoted sister-in-law of Donna Steinacher of Owen Sound, and aunt of Ron and Noreen Steinacher of Tobermory, and Mark and Brenda Steinacher, and their family Ben, Sarah and Rachel, all of Brantford.

She will also be remembered by her brothers-in-law David Zimmerman and his wife Donna, and Eric Zimmerman and his wife Carol, all of Neustadt, and by their families.

Predeceased by her dear brother Fred Steinacher.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Harriston United Church on Wednesday, August 4th at 1:30 p.m.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Harriston-Minto Fire Department would be appreciated.
