Marion Remus passed away in Listowel on Monday, April 25, 2016.

Marion Isobel (Kirkness) Remus is survived by her daughter Della Baumgarten and her sister Evelyn Fraser and will be sadly missed her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother Mervin Kirkness, her companion Jack Long and her daughter Connie Verbeek

Marion was a lifelong resident of Harriston and Palmerston, and had many friends in the area, including special friends Shirley MacKenzie and Marg Holtom.

She was one of the founding presidents of the Harriston Horticultural Society, was a lifetime member and always took great pride in her flowers and her home. Mom was loving and loyal to her friends and family and will always be remembered by them.

Her wish was to have no visitation or service--just kind thoughts please.

Memorial donations to Palmerston and District Hospital would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
